We live in a part of the world where many guys are attracted to flashy and materialistic ladies forgetting that most of these ladies are no go area for any sane man who wants to live a fulfilled life.

However, flashy and materialistic ladies are usually very lazy and unproductive set of people. They have no other thing they are thinking rather than taxing guys for money simply because they so much believe that life revolves around their butts and bosoms. All they talk about is how they can't settle down with a man that earns nothing less than 200k per month even though they themselves have not paid back the N50 they borrowed from MTN for the past three month.

Many a times, you see them artificially dressed from head to toe, always on designer shoes, bags, heavy make-up, massive bosoms and butts and they begin to walk like when Jesus rode on a donkey.

It has been observed that some guys shamelessly lust after these dumb, greedy yet unproductive ladies who only enjoy the comfort of what their pockets will bring to them.

Of recent, guys are now becoming wiser that they have come to realise that getting entangled with a lady who is lazy yet financially bankrupt is a big disaster to their ministry.

Church girls are not in any way different as some of them are mere pretenders, repackaged olosho who disguise as angels of light to deceive a brother in the church.

It's high time guys opened their eyes and realize that the height they will attain in life largely depends on the kind of ladies they choose as companions. If you find yourself dating a lady who can't do without talking about elaborate wedding, how stunning she wants to look and how she wants the jaw of people to break each time she walk, then you should know that your salary will definitely be responsible for that.

Take for example, when you get married to an unsatisfied and unrepentant slay queen, how long will you constantly cater for her personal needs which ordinarily would gulp up your whole salary?. Using your salary or little earnings to make her happy when your mates are already buying lands and building houses when you're still at one spot?

Let's take a look at it from another angle. Imagine a situation where your monthly income is 80k per month. The cost of accommodation may gulp up to 7k on monthly basis depending on the location. Feeding, electricity bill, transport and miscellaneous may gulp to 30k leaving you with only 47k per month. Imagine your parasitic girlfriend always disturbing every now and then for her hair, monthly data subscription and frivolities, why won't you remain on a spot? And if standards are not met, she would resort to extra marital affairs and rob it on your face.

From the above explanation, can you see why some guys have no savings even if their salaries are overwhelming? Meanwhile a wise guy who earns less but knows his way around these flashy and parasitic ladies would have something tangible to boast of as savings at the end of the month.

It's hightime we give ourselves brain. Don't go for stunning ladies because you want people to cheer you up each walking with her on the street but go for a career driven lady with great potentials.

And lastly, don't go for ladies with feminism ideology. They are nothing but waste of time. They are the worst kind of ladies you can ever date. All they need talking about is how they can't offer financial assistance to a man and how they want to be the boss of the relationship/marriage .

In Nigeria today, women are fighting for equal rights and quality of treatment but this is one thing they are very fine with being not equal.

Materialistic ladies are usually the attractive and elegant type most guys would want to roll with. They usually carry themselves with so much hype and charisma that will make other women green with envy. Some of them are even educated (degree holders) but still don't know their purpose in life.

Many of them know the right buttons to press to make guys go crazy and dance to their rhythm. But in the midst of all these, lies their insatiable urge to acquire all a man has laboured for and thus reap where they did not sow

Any guy who gets himself entangled with flashy/materialistic ladies will continue to struggle with his life. He will continue to crawl while his mates are flying. Even rich men try to run from these ladies

It's unfortunate that you lump ladies of substance and materialistic ladies in the same article. . . An irony I must say. There are some ladies of substance that aren't materialistic, even though they may have all the good material things they need - such material things will sure cause someone like you to erroneously conclude that they're materialistic. My point is that not all flashy ladies are materialistic.

The difference between an altruistic and contented lady of substance and a materialistic lady is that while the former lives life on principle the latter lives life on expediency. I don't hold brief for materialistic people.
