Nigeria's bureaucracy and red tape is one of the things holding us down as a nation. We don't know how to set a deadline for something. This encourages efficiency. Trump became president in January 2017, and two months after he'd already sent the 2018 budget which was to begin in October 2017, to the Congress. And of course the budget has been ed by Congress and their fiscal year has begun this month. Why should our own fiscal year begin by January but the budget is never ready until May? Talk about ineffective and ineptitude. Why can't Buhari mandate the budget office to forward every year's Budget to the NASS by October and then the NASS also play their own part by ing it into law by December? 2018 budget? When 2017 own is still not fully implemented. Anyway, it is a bit better. At least there will be enough time to debate and work on it.I just hope those 469 wise thieves won't pad it as usual or even delay it till may 2018. I wonder what else they are doing in that chamber a part from shouting Yey and na yet you will see them complaining that they are busy.busy with reading and debating on useless bills that doesn't have any effects on the common man.
