A group of youths from Obio Etoi community are currently protesting in front of the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo over non-compensation for using their 'land'.

The angry youths believe that the government should be giving some kind of payment to them for situating the stadium in their community.PoliticsNGR has obtained photographs from the scene. See them below;

My Dear Obio Etoi Brothers and Sisters, Land belong to Government and Government can use any land for Any developmental project without paying any compensation except the place was developed by Individuals before government take over. Uyo Master Plan had it that A Stadium will be located in that particular place. So you guys should go home Mbok.
