Kdamilola: Good evening pal, I reached out to the school, and I was told to use the school approved agent. How does a virtual dollar card work, and if eventually I use it, I don't know if it is going to affect my application. |

Hello guys Please can I sponsor myself to Australia or I must be sponsored by a relative? |
Kdamilola(m): 4:40am On May 10, 2024 |
Zbk001: Hey, That means the University compels the use of approved agents. There are some like that. Just try getting in touch with the agent and they'll assist. There are numerous virtual dollar cards out there, just do a quick search. I've used Klasha; they have good rates. You can research on more. No, it cannot affect your application, just that the cards sometimes carry the risk of not being accepted by some payment outlets. When that happens, withdraw your money from the card back to naira and try another. You'll lose some money this way though. The best thing is to use a Nigerian dorm dollar card, if you can get one. |

We've not been getting grant update here again. Has anyone recieved or know someone who got grant recently?
|
AKASBABA1: 11:12am On May 20, 2024 |
Alexyswiss: The most recent student application we submitted received a final decision before the medical and biometric processes, yet we haven't received a decision record to date. |

Good afternoon all. Pls which loan company international student to pay tuition fee⦠|
AKASBABA1: 3:38pm On May 20, 2024 |
Alexyswiss: We initially thought it was a mistake or automated, so we called, and they said they would send a decision record. It has been one week now, and the applicant was supposed to do biometrics today. The flight, hotel, and everything were planned and paid for, but she has returned to school (university) today. This is the first time we have had such an experience with Australian immigration. It highlights one of the negative aspects of applying for a visa from offshore. If it were here, we could have applied for a tribunal. |

Hello. Are you still in WSU? I've paid tuition and am currently waiting for CoE from them. It's been over a week now and I'm getting close to visa application limit. My agent has sent 2 emails, no response. Do you know anything about how long they take to confirm payment and send CoE or is there a way I can follow up with them? bantonbow: |

hi guys, good afternoon. Are spouse allowed to work full time in Australia
|
AKASBABA1: 12:33am On May 28, 2024 |
Khamon: Yes, spouses of visa holders in Australia are generally allowed to work full-time if the main visa holder is allowed full-time(unrestricted work rights). The work rights of spouses depend on the type of visa held by the primary applicant. For example: Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482): Spouses of primary visa holders are permitted to work full-time without any restrictions. Student Visa (subclass 500): Spouses of student visa holders can work unlimited hours if the primary applicant is enrolled in a master's degree or higher. However, if the primary applicant is studying at a lower level, such as a bachelor's degree, the spouse's work rights may be limited to 40 hours per fortnight. 1 Like |

@everyone. Australia is maintaining the 50 years age limit for post study visas, for phd and research masters students.

For students sponsored by their family member, i am finding out even schools no longer give COE because of rejection from embassy. It appears Siblings can no longer be thr major financial sponsor. So basically, it has to be your parents. Question becomes;what will happen to people without parents or retired pensioners. How can they be major sponsors if one or two siblings can comfortably sponsor the applicant. Everywhere don tight. This is for those preparing their application. Please ensure the majority of yoir funds comes from your parents. At this rate, people hoping to be sponsored by their uncle is a no go. What do you think the applicant should do if the school is requesting that the parents and not siblings shouod be the major sponsor? Any suggestions please link up with me.

Obiora94: Ask your sponsor to send the proof of fund amount into your parents and leave it there for the period of time required to get the statement. 1 Like |
