The most reliable way to check if your name is out is by checking the pasted names on the walls of various hostels.

Depends on you, I guess it's okay kinda. You get to be given a locker which normally you won't be given in hall 3 as a freshman.

I begin to wonder if it is because when I paid for the bed allocation fee, I did not book for accommodation

I am just seeing the book accommodation part just now or is there any probability that I might be given a bed space.

I tried booking early this year after I had paid for bed allocation fee and it said outside booking period. let's still check prolly frm Monday they'd more on kofa.

_UNREST STUDENTS DEMAND FOR RELIABLE FACTS AND SINCERITY_

*Monday, 5th of March, 2018.*


OUR attention has been drawn to an Hostel lists released lately, looking at the lists, we discovered;
1) That year one and year two students were given down bunk, while penultimate and final year students were given up bunk.

2) That Hall 4, unit one which is currently inhabitable may lead to epidemic, where Rodents now take refuge.

3) That while we lack water, light and maintenance in all Halls of residence lists came out.

As a Union what we expected is a means to get graduates cleared and prepared for NYSC mobilization not hostel lists.

For the sake of History, the hostel price of #17,000, was never negotiated by the Union against the management initial agreement on dialogue as a way forward. It is sad that a room of two persons will be occupied by 8 persons and above.

Upon this background, *The Students' Union Government completely disassociate itself from any hostel lists until the needful is done.*

Students who are already marketing the space they got by illegally means will be deeply penalized if caught, as we employ the committee on hostel matters to take necessary action.

Uniben students cannot be slaves in an institution of learning.

*As the President of the Union, i hereby draw the attention of the management to the plight of the students who we swore an oath to protect, defend and represent at all times.*

These, we will continue to do despite the victimization, oppression, intimidation and suppression since _Education is a Right and not a Privilege._

*God bless my Vice Chancellor, a very good man, who will do the needful.*

Before now, one is to present Eligibility Form for gown collection. You can try your luck and if they did not give you, all those photographers will give you one by patronizing them.

Someone had same issue when I wanted to collect mine but he wasn't given
But you can try your luck, since it's different department

If you can't get the gown then you could atleast borrow from your colleagues or those photographers to take your photo shots
