Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ogbona Onovo, has ordered the dismissal of the three out of the four police officers who were allegedly involved in the killing of a enger in a  taxi cab in Ilorin on Sunday .

The affected policemen are Sergeant Sunday Balogun, Corporal Adams Akeem and Constable Olatunji Tajudeen who allegedly pulled the trigger.
Already, the affected police officers would be arraigned before an Ilorin magistrate court today, Wednesday.

THISDAY checks revealed that Onovo was said to have been disturbed over the reported incident that had claimed the lives of innocent people on the pretence of stopping a taxi cab for searching at a checkpoint.

Source close to the Kwara state Police Command in Ilorin yesterday told our correspondent that, the police authorities were not happy at the way and manner some of the of the police force have been comporting  themselves while on patrol duty across the nation.
