A terrible accident happened today Sunday,Feb 26,2017 along Warri/Sapele road by Mountain of Fire Camp ground.According to reports,a black jeep jumped to the other side of the road after the driver lost control.

All engers including serving NYSC member died on the spot.What a black Sunday!

That streach of road can be quite slippery, especially when it rains. The last time I travelled through there, I saw three vehicles that veered off the road into water logged ditches along the road.
The above means that in very wet conditions, drivers should reduce their speed, very drastically as oil slick can make the roads very unpredictable, even if you are a good driver and think your car has very good brake system.

Safety is a collective thing. When as a nation we see nothing wrong in someone driving to a beer palour drink and still enter that same car to drive home then we would continue to have such reckless driving.

Some people do not even know there's what we call speed limits , how to overtake on the highways and so on and even what simple turn signals mean. People buys cars worth millions but can't buy hands free call devices of N2000 so they won't have to be holding phones while driving or texting while driving.

Even common tyre pressure, some don't know the right pressure that their cars should have. These kind of things would continue to happen as long as we have bunch of ignorant and arrogant, schooled but illiterate and daft citizens.

Y do Corp always dying in accidents. It is becoming strange n unbearable. Sims NYSC is accursed initiative. I thank God I neva served n am doing well working in a good coy.
My advice to Corp is don't put on ur uniform while travelling.

Never really like that road after I had an accident along there, in fact that accident involved myself and an army Hilux. Too many things wrong along that supposed express road.

How many people know how to drive in Nigeria?
Matching on the throttle and holding steering are not the only thing involved in driving.
I have seen people who drove for many years in Nigeria that couldn't driving test here even up to the third attempt.
FRSC are Nigerians too. And one glaring fact is that Nigerians only put value in money. Nothing else matters be it life or death.

simply put,this guys are terrible drivers endangering human lives on daily basis, I wonder why fatal accidents like this don't happen up north, with their good roads and d high speeds their drivers move at, its always down south that we have this reckless drivers plying our roads,all thanks to automatic transmission rides,most of them cant move a manual ride!! rip to the dead.
