There are different colours of lies
there is the white lie ;
there is the black lie;
amd there are many shades of grey lie
some say certain lies are justified,
like lie told out of kindness,
lies told to preserve dignity,
lies that spare pain,
justfied lies fall under many shades of grey lies. sometimes i wonder if there is any sin justifiable ?
the bible says that sin keeps us away from God, but my question is this
will God understand when a lies is justifiable

a lie is a lie before God, but there are some lies told to hurt someone or to cause confusion. there are some lies told unconciosly e.g. telling your friend ''I am coming now'' while you are still far away. all is a sin before God but the punishment of one is greater than the other
