8 of non-academic staff of Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua were involved in a fatal accident on Saturday Nov 26 near Dapchi on their way to Damaturu for promotional examinations. 6 of the victims of the staff of USCOEGA lost their lives in the tragedy.They have since been buried. On hearing the sad news, Senator Lawan representing Yobe North paid a condolence visit to the families of the Yobe citizens who lost their lives in the incident.
