Its not about having money. Some of the people on those queue are cleaners and high school student working part time in mcdonalds or supermarkets.
The one of the characteristics of a developed country is that you dont have to be rich to buy latest cars or electronics. There is a good credit system in place, unlike Nigeria where corruption don dabaru everything.

People need to understand that this phone comes cheap to them (iPhone 7 is $650) .... Imagine if $1=N1,
