now that AACTRIS is not available, what next for Abuja Area Council land Owners to revalidate their documents

For a while now, Abuja Area council land owners have not been able to validate their land title with AACTRIS(Accelerated Area Council Title and Sectional Title Reissuance Scheme ) with the primary objective of revalidation and processing of certificates of occupancy for for plots of land in the Area Councils, Mass Housing estates and Sectional titles for Multi-dwelling properties in the Area Councils of the FCT. Applicants with Customary titles make a payment of N100,000 only application fee into the designated AACSTRIS at any Oceanic/Ecobank and upon certification of true ownership will be issued Statutory "bankable" titles.

Now, many of new land onwers (Abuja Area councils) are stucked at AGIS recertification which does not give 100% assurance of land ownership.

I was at AACTRIS office today, they are yet to even commission it. I was told by the security agent that probably this month. AGIS has suspended any form of re-certification of Area council land
