This is the sorry state of Ikom-Calabar highway at Akpet Central Village in Cross River state. The road which has been badly affected due to heavy downpour -caused obstruction for road s and motorists for four days. The road was cleared by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps on Thursday (yesterday). There are NO ROADS in Cross Rivers State.. Odukpani is fhucked, Ikom road same.. Its like all their Governor does with state funds is wait till December to siphon cash via Carnival and carry Oloshos. 4 Likes |

I thought work had begun on that road, i reading about it. It is pertinent for government to fix roads in the dry season to avoid travellers going through severe stress when the rains begin. |
