Better still use ink and feather written on leather
Why are you like this now?
Someone is asking a sensible question that will help, and you are opening your arsenal to emit thrash.

I just want to be sure, so i wont make mistake. I need your advice.
It depends on the establishment you're applying the job. My candid advice is that you should someone from the human resource department of that organisation to know their most prefered pattern of application. Generally, most organisations would prefer hand written application to computer-typed. The most important thing is your gramatical accuracy and eligibility of the letter.

writing or typing? nah! use HB pencil to draw legibly.
Lexusgs430: 8:21am On May 11, 2016
Write it on a mini blackboard with chalk, then submit it for consideration

Thought I once heard that application letters must always be handwritten, have this changed? All my life I have never submitted a typed application letter, (I haven't submitted much anyway).
Well now we are in computer age shaa, I guess any will be accepted, but personally if I am an employer I will prefer handwritten.

Do what the recruiter says. Some still prefer handwriting because they use it to access your personality.

I would prefer typed letters as it saves the stress of reading bad handwritings.

well handwriting is much better than typing, typing might make them think it's been edited but handwriting is far better.

Am I OK now bro?

Writing it is still better. So has not to doubt if truly you're the one who formed the letter.

If the advert didn't specify handwritten, then typed of course.

But take note if you are responding to adverts as some do indicate handwritten applications.
christee(f): 10:44am On May 11, 2016
it is always specified in the advert. whether they want it hand written or typed. Most organisations request for handwritten application

All these people saying Typed ' Most employers use typed Application letter as a basis for disqualifying applicants especially when you are submitting manually. If you have a very good handwriting, I'd say handwritten is the best because it delivers a message of competency and proficiency . HR's will relate better

It all depends on where the letter is going or the type of job you are applying for. When applying in a reputable company or organization, you can do well to type it.
Other casual jobs like teaching and others, they do not really mind
what if you are applying for a lecturing job and they said submit written application,is it typed or handwritten they want?
