There is brightness slider when you swipe down make use of it.

have installed gcam for redmi 8 but I don't know how to import the xlm file. please help

Also search from settings for scanning. Disable WiFi and Bluetooth scanning

Let's guess. You perhaps spent much time outdoors today and phone was set on auto brightness. If that's the case, it's expected because auto brightness will push the screen brightness to the maximum, which results to huge battery drain. Assuming you actually went out for an occasion in a location with poor network reception or fluctuating internet connection, then the situation becomes even worse.

Press and hold on the app icon till app info appears. Click on it to open the app info then, click on restrict data usage, next untick the sim associated with internet.
N.B. the app wont be able to connect to the internet till u activate it again.
I do it for my whatsapp when those babes start disturbing me too much because i am a fine boy

Affect application of config file. Go to advanced settings, where you see Pixel 4XL change it SSKGM1

Create a folder on the root of your internal storage called GoogleCamera then create another folder in this folder called ConfigsCamera. Paste the XML FILE (s)

Then open the app click on the black space at the right side between the shutter button and the button to view pictures select the config file and click restore. Close the app and reopen.

Go to settings, advanced where you see Pixel 4 XL change it to SSKGM1(If applicable to this version).

Incase you can't apply configs
