. What are you going for,but i think italy is not difficult then hungary and cech.but you have to provide correct evidence of why you are going

With a schengen visa, you can enter/visit about 26 European Countries without worries. But if you're talking of settling down, I'll advise you go for , cos they have a very good economy and the standard of living is low. Plus most of them speak English as well.

If you've traveled before then you can apply thru . Is much easier.

why is a first time traveler not advice to apply through embassy for schengen visa.?

I Apply through Italy and got my Visa, I am happy

Go to their embassy they have some awesome for you. Trust me you'll love it.

How long did your visa processing take before getting result?

These days almost two months but Italy and are still great countries o apply thru their embassies here.
