When Tosin was at Fulham he was the key player for them in defence and was the must outstanding.

Bassy is not in any way shape or fork better than Tosin.
And Tosin in my opinion is not better than Bassey.

I think he will be a good squad player..
He won't displace any of our starting CBs, but will be a quality option on the bench..
he will easily displace semi ajayi

My point is, if dis guy wants to change nationality let him do it now when d situation is dicey, he shouldn't wait until we qualified B4 he suddenly realises dat he has a Nigerian blood.

ALL THOSE FOREIGN BORN SHOULDN'T BE TAKING NIGERIA FOR GRANTED.
that’s his problem and decision to make but that should make us bitter by saying he isn’t better than our current CBs

I myself I am frustrated because of him using us to catch cruise but won’t deny the fact that he will be top luxury for our defence if he finally decides to switch to us

He has played over 12 games in the premier league with a squad with top players andvhas had some injuries in the past.

It's m of great , but it's Chelsea filled with top level players. Are any of our current defenders comparable talk less of being better.

Shola Ameobi got the call up because we lacked big strikers with experience. At that time, if Shola Ameobi was called for the qualifiers, he would have honoured it. He showed commitment even when not playing.

Tosin has been dribbling us for years and I doubt such a player will ever be fully committed.
truth because keshi was a big fan of big strikers and few he had in his disposal then were misfiring and inexperienced

The only reliable striker he had then was Emenike who prior to 2014 world and the competition proper lost form

Read from Scorenigeria.com.ng that Chelle has names of younger forwards whom he wish to blood into the super eagles team gradually with Monaco’s Ilenikhana topping the list

Also they re rumours that Lille’s new forward Akpom will be in the team for the World Cup qualifiers next month while Soton’s Aribo will likely get a recall

The following questions below are coming in 1... 2... 3 from some persons who I will not mention their names but are always attacking

- Who in Super Eagles defense is better than him?
- Which of our defenders can start in Chelsea?

Please when responding, tell them let him switch now and help us qualify for them to be assessed and not in the tournament proper.

But what do I know? I don't have them as friends, neither do I watch them in trainings or ever have I spoken with their managers. Heck I no sabi English self.
Don't be dumb bro, they're talking loyalty and principle you're saying crap. Think

Abeg be specific with the Una, I've never said anything negative about Bassey, even when he make few errors, I know he will learn from it. For me currently I don't rate any man united or Chelsea defenders above Bassey.

If we bag Ilenikhena indeed then he edges Kparobo as Nigeria's hottest U20 CF talent out there. But until then, Kparobo holds that crown.

Excrement as usual eh

Lookman and Bassey came in at a crucial WCQ game, they took the heat with the team and were refined. The bar shouldn't be lower.
I had to come back to like this post.

Watch him come do a backflit and leave out the substance of slugging it out with the team during qualifiers.

There was one time à certain moniker told us to forget about Tosin back when he was in Man City. If I correctly, the person said Tosin is more English than the Queen herself, so no road there. I think time has somewhat proven that moniker was and is correct.

Fabrizio Romano has shed light on the transfer saga involving Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman in the weeks leading up to the close of the 2024 summer transfer window.

The African Footballer of the Year had been linked with a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain in August but the coach of the capital club, Luis Enrique chose to fill the gap left by Gonçalo Ramos' injury with players already on the team.

Speaking to Viva el Futbol, Romano revealed that Lookman’s future with the 2023-2024 Europa League winners could take a decisive turn this summer, with tensions already having flared behind the scenes last August.

The Italian transfer market guru added that in the summer of 2023, Lookman reportedly had a verbal agreement with Atalanta that he would be allowed to leave in 2024 for a fee in the range of €30-35 million.

However, as the months ed, that valuation became unrealistic following his heroics in the Europa League final, where he netted a historic hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

By the time Paris Saint-Germain put that amount on the table, Atalanta were unwilling to entertain offers, given they were already preparing to sell Teun Koopmeiners.

This situation led to a period of unrest, with Lookman even skipping training sessions in protest.

Though the tension eventually eased, Romano suggests that Lookman’s desire for a transfer has not faded.

With the summer window approaching, Atalanta may now be forced to honour their earlier agreement with Lookman or prepare for another contentious standoff.

After missing six consecutive games due to a knee injury, the Nigeria international is set to make his comeback in Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Club Brugge.

Lookman will enter the last one year of his contract with Atalanta at the end of the season.

Fantastic clip. Jennifer Echiegini is eye appealing with the ball. Gave me a slight Edgar Davids ing feeling.

Nice commentary too. Keep up the good work.
