What Can I Do To Let My Wife Wake Up Early? (53105 Views)
AfroKnight: 12:08am On Feb 12, 2016 |
Bro, if she has not changed by now, just ignore cos she may never adjust. 6am is late if you live in lagos and you work far away from your neighborhood. It is quite early in some other states. As long as her lateness doesn't slow you down from heading out to work, you're good. Pray together at night. 6 Likes |

sheilak: Which chores? Who is talking about chores here? So, u don't even feed your kids b4 going to skul? I presume u don't cook what u give them to eat, u don't also prepare their luch pack aswell? Do u know that d difference between 6am to 7.45 is 1hr45mins? There is no way u are not going late for work or your kids are not going late for skul. Assume the family doesn't have a car. In your family, u must all be grown ups, and if u re married, den u don't have kids yet, u think preparing kids for skul is child's play. Skul run ain't easy. Like I said, any day I wake up by 6am, I must be late, subtract 25-30 mins from 105mins, u have 75mins,(1hrs 15mins) who prepares breakfast, lunch, bath kids, clothe them and make sure they eat, take dem skul b4 going to work in 1hr15mins? 4 Likes |

vybzkartel: Oga.. i dont see how 6am is late for a humanto wakeup. Except you know theres somrthing you would be missing waking up that time. If she is a full house wife, then 6am is particularly fine! Studies show the 38 percent of women who sleep less than 7hrs a day grow fat! 3 Likes |

Mr. Advise seeker, you tactfully avoided mentioning what time your wife goes to bed to warrant waking up by 6am, which to me is not late if she's a stay at home mum/wife, who tends to the family all day long and probably doesnt get to nap during the day, and perhaps, not an early bird like me. This shouldn't have even appeared here, it's a minor issue you could have sorted out within the confine of your home. Geez!

Dear poster, what is wrong in waking up at 6am, you need to understand that your wife is different from you, where in the Bible did God tell you the exact time to pray, stop forcing your beleive on her pls, where the spirit of God is there is liberty(freedom), its good that you both pray together but when shes tired, leave her alone.A virtous woman knows how to sort her case with God, not wake up because her husband is awake, if she doesnt pray at all, dats a different case. we Christains are so used to procedures that we forget what God is saying in our situations, if you are spiritually inclined as you claim, then wait for the holy spirit to instruct you before you wake her up....thats why God told Isiah or so to stop following rules made by men..whatever thou findest in the Bible, apply it to your marriage..dazol vybzkartel: 3 Likes |

@op, I think waking up at 6am isn't too bad, especially if you have kids. Just learn to appreciate her for caring for the kids and doing chores. Also Let her know she deserves to rest.

sheilak: For advanced family or new family? However don't use yourself as a yardstick to measure other people. @least, your siblings can bath themselves, cloth themselves and even feed themselves. Why don't you talk about your dad? Probably not in the picture of people to be taken care of in the morning like preparing his breakfast, but OP is around as a father. For your info, I am the 2nd child of my family, 1st left for UK for akademikz @ 16yrs (she is married now). And anytime we wake up by 6am, everyone in d house must go late to skul or work. I now live alone, and same thing applies. Did I tell u dat my mum was also a second skul principal? 1 Like |

chigoizie7: you can actually do all that in 1hr 15 minutes. it's called planning and multi tasking. and child spacing helps A LOT. if you have 4 years between kids, by the time younger one is old enough for school, egbon would be about 7 or 8. I have cousins that age and they do basic things themselves. What are you making for breakfast, are you cooking ogbono from scratch that you can't rustle something up in 15 minutes...Not packing any lunch, they'll eat lunch at school, it's part of the fees. I do my chores at night, so i can sleep well through the night let nobody come and tell me virtuous woman, so i should wake up 4AM. it's like i'm going to add this to questions to ask future bae, i cannot go and enter one chance. Look at all the work you listed that she has to do by herself and still go to work, like they're not your kids too. It doesn't matter if she gets back from work at 7, goes straight to making dinner, does house chores and prepare kids uniform, perform conjugal duties at the end of the day go to bed at 12 midnight, and then wake up 4AM.... because Proverbs 31. 17 Likes |

Op you are still a kid if up till now you've not clearly understood ur wife. Just because she wakes up by 6am bcoms an issue for you. Virtuous is woman is what you want, may i ask you, are you a perfect man? C'mon, nobody is perfect. If she's not doing it right, accommodate and correct her with respect and love.

vybzkartel: I can't deal, just can't. Where do you guys appear from? 6 am is too late for her to wake up. Hmm, you conveniently avoid saying what her day is like and when she goes to bed but you say she is not a virtuous woman. SMH!!!! 5 Likes |
