Am beginning to see these SR political news with the other eye. Most of their sources are just hearsay. The "source" revealed the "source" said... Which source? I sense propaganda in this one. No concrete evidence to substantiate their allegations

Although the whole story is heresy, I know deep down me that there is no smoke without fire. The truth is that as long as Justices and Judges are appointed/recommended by Politicians, their independence cannot be guaranteed. In all, let's await the Supreme Court reasons for upholding the election. 15 Likes 1 Share |

“It is rather strange for the Supreme Court to just throw away all the evidence of non-compliance and corrupt practices,” the lawyer stated. He added that the verdict left the impression of an attempt to justify a pre-determined outcome. “Does it mean that the judges who sat over this case at the tribunal and the Appeal Court were not sound in law? How can the Supreme Court just reject the very card reader that brought sanity into our electoral process? Is INEC not empowered by the Constitution and the Electoral Act to issue binding guidelines for elections? Where in the Electoral Act is ticking of names of voters as evidence of accreditation provided for?” What is the hope of Nigeria if Our Supreme Court celebrates and endorses corruption. 17 Likes 1 Share |

Election is only election if it complies substantially with the provisions of the Electoral Act. In any event, the said ballot papers were mangled and destroyed by corrupt INEC officials. Why should anyone who said he conducted [an] election, destroy ballot papers purportedly used for the said election? The voters also showed that only 448, 307 people were accredited, as opposed to the more than 1.2 million votes declared. Decrying the decline in the reputation of the Supreme Court, the lawyer noted that the petitioners had submitted 350 pieces of documentary evidence, including videos, accusing the Supreme Court of deciding to look the other way. Even before the judgment was read, Mr. Akpabio was heard stating that “it is all over.” He counseled the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Umana Okon Umana, and other APC officials to return to Akwa Ibom and “begin reconciliation.” This is the corruption people celebrated and danced on the streets. Shaking my head in disgust. I like Udom Emmanuel more than Umana Umana. If you are to win, win fairly than commit atrocities that will wreck the Judicial system that is meant to protect the country. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Na so. Gradually, the truth will come out. I trust the Nigerian Wikileaks to do a thorough job since they now have good intel the judgement was procured. And to those redundant Ipod camels who keep jumping in on everything NIGERIAN, when would you people learn to mind your business?? Today you say the zoo must fall and that you aren't citizens of the zoo but biafrans, the next day, when news breaks about the zoo, you camels are the first to arrive the scene to gobble ravenously at your own excrement. Never seen such a bunch of confused deadbeats all my life. ![]() 9 Likes 1 Share |
