When are we going to stop sounding like it's a privilege and not our rights? For crying out loud, they were voted in to work..

Non-functional street lights have been a problem in Lagos and Nigeria. Imagine navigating dilapidated roads at night which are poorly lit? Its like being on a death mission. My heart is always in my mouth when driving at night in Lagos.

Kudos to the guy.
you sef wetin you dey do for road at night ? you be armu robber ni ?

Pathetic

Which state are you from? Did your Governor perform better than Fashola in the same eight years period?

Ambode tinks using social media will influence people's opinion? He ain't done shit! Lightin up a bridge isn't an accomplishment!

It's really tragic that a major bridge like Third Mainland - the longest in Africa - that should ALWAYS be well lit, has to wait for an incoming state governor to 'light it up'. It's just ludicrous.

Good reporting.
We still need places to escape for the quiet and peace....no lights after sunset, wake up to cock crow, hear the birds sing their lovely tunes, no one is rushing.time, social s are close and intimate......

Leave the glimmers and insanity.to the city, dont turn everywhere into Lagos, we will.loose our sanity. lol.
Man2utd(m): 11:59pm On Jan 29, 2016
I hope all the lights will be working perfectly after five days, because not all the street lights on Allen came on when it was installed and switched on and some that came on has started going off.

Lagos na wa O, Fashola plants flowers during his tenure. Ambode is lighting up lagos now. It's well. Soldier go soldier come barracks still remain the same.

All these yellow lights are huge drain on power economy. Please go for energy saving bulbs. Its white and saves more energy. Great job though

Non functional street lights? Pls could u give kudos to whom kudos is due when it comes to the lighting of Oshodi. Mehn, that place would a been unnavigable in the night but for the constant lighting in that area that makes the place somewhat safe in the night for workers and other pedestrians ing thru.

That's the economic bridge of the state...PDP has no conscience at all by playing politics with Lagos State then, through this long awaited issue of who's gonna light up the bridge. The daily atrocities that are been perpetrated on that bridge is through the of the last PDP istration. That bridge wouldn't have been light up if not that we voted in this present government of CHANGE

it's big deal bro cos first third mainland bridge isn't lagos state property yet he didn't look at it before making those light functioning once again....at least we should commend this light up lagos project....evil doers make use of darkness not light.... so bro it's a big deal except u don't use light at home.

one thing i loved about lagos when i recently went there(first time) was the 24 hourness of live. We arrived at 2am but the traffic girdlock was huge with trailers in there thousands, vegetables and fruits from every part of the country also arriving, taxi men where up and awake ready to take any engers, factories were busy producing products, some streets while entering lagos was smelling so good as resturants were also busy cooking meals for the day. It was just so amazing seeing hustle and bustle even at 2am. But where i came from, everything close up after 10 or 11pm, it was very boring. The world have moved on since, every capital city in nigeria should be 24hour cities.

proud lagos boy for life, we rep #sne
