NIGERIANS BATTLED WITH BIAFRANS NEAR THE ZAMBIAN HIGH COMMISSION IN LONDON TODAY (SATURDAY) AND POLICE HAD TO INTERVENE TO PREVENT SERIOUS TROUBLE. IT WAS AN UNEQUAL BATTLE WITH THE NIGERIANS OUTNUMBERED BY MORE THAN TEN TO ONE. AT LEAST ONE MAN WAS ITTED TO HOSPITALS AND SEVEN WERE ARRESTED. THE TROUBLE STARTED WHEN 30 OF THE NIGERIAN STUDENTS' ACTION COMMITTEE MARCHED ON THE HIGH COMMISSION PROTESTING AGAINST ZAMBIA'S RECENT RECOGNITION OF BIAFRA. ABOUT 400 BIAFRANS ATTACKED THEM WHEN THEY NEARED THE HIGH COMMISSION. AT BIRMINGHAM IN THE ENGLISH MIDLANDS, ABOUT 40 OF THE CITY'S BIAFRAN ASSOCIATION MARCHED ON A GUNMAKER'S FACTORY PROTESTING AGAINST BRITAIN SUPPLYING ARMS TO NIGERIA. THERE WERE NO INCIDENTS AND A DELEGATION WAS ITTED WITH A PETITION.

Living as 'one' is not something that should not be 'enforced', it is something that should be by free choice. Even a man gets down on one knee to ask a woman to be 'one' with him. The Igbo/Yoruba/ Hausa man lived thousands of years in west Africa without being 'one' and they didn't kill each other. Because Lugard came 100 years ago to tell these people that they are 'one', all three have been fighting and killing each other in the millions since then. That should tell anyone who has a brain something important
