This event happened last week. Ikom Hi-Life is a Cultural Fiesta or Festival that is a Product of the Traditional Lifestyle of the Ikom people of Cross River state. It embodies beliefs of the people as it relates to their worldview and Heritage as handed down from generation to generation. It captures the Art and Science of their way of life especially in areas of Agriculture, Medicine, Architecture, Art, Craft, Rituals and Entertainment. Within the Agricultural framework of the Festival also, Traditional medicines, Cuisines, Technology, Dance, Music and other forms entertainment are showcased with modern event management techniques and professional documentation for best practices. The Ikom Hi-Life has grown to become a great event for Home coming and Tourism in Cross River state. The celebration started eight years ago and is held annually mostly in September, marking the celebration of the "New Yam" festival of Ikom people.

This must be a recent development. We never had this when I lived there. Where's the venue? Ikom Town? Ikom LG council ground? Ikom Stadium? Or Four Corners?
