For nearly 7 years now I've been a Samsung fan but lately I want to switch side and the only substitute I can think of now is htc precisely the M7

I haven't use this gadget before so I was hoping someone who has used it PLEASE give me a first hand review of the phone ESPECIALLY how good is the battery? How long can one use it while on 3G

I would advice you visit a phone store and have a feel of the phone yourself, take as much time as you can.

But personally I think the only time I would pick a samsung flagship over HTC was its current s6/edge. Htc previous flagships are better than samsung previous flagship.

And for indept review and comparism with the phones uve used and satified with, to know how long/good all theses stuff work visits phone sites like phonearena.

M7 is old technology. . I always wanted it then tho.. u can go for m8 at least...

I have also been a Samsung fan like u but for about 4 years now.. and am planning to go for Sony Xperia Z3 next. . Make Samsung park for a while

Go get an htc m8 and don't bother about Samsung unless u getting an s6,htc is as as you could get to an iPhone feeling

it's a no no.....even m8 dey hot for hand while on camera, HTC isn't dat cool...go for Sony z2 or z3 compact, battery life nd speed u wld enjoy. ..im presently using Samsung gs5 running lollipop 5.1.1, switched frm Xperia z1, it's not been bad nd has sweet camera too.

Am Htc freak... I have never been disappointed... But i prefer m8 but m7 is not as bad as people say it is...

I'm no brand freak, but M7 battery doesn't last atall, has nyc display. ..m8 battery is good, but it doesn't v power saving option. due to its metal body it tends to heat up on prolonged usage nd mostly whn on camera.
it's design is epic no doubt, with d boom sound, I enjoyed it.

i have htc m7 for sale..25k and very clean. i stay in lagos

Among the HTC One series.... M7 is the most beautifully designed and am a proud owner of the Dual SIM.... But it heats up easily when on 3G. Some say is because of it's metallic body. Battery life, I don't like complaining about that. But overall the phone is good but I suggest you try Sony Z3 if you have the cash

Seriously? i doubt you own an HTC m7, pls search up HTC m7 camera issues and see tons of complains. None of HTC's M-series flagship camera can compare with other flagship model.

Guys am so particular about taking pictures as I will be using it basically for my school projects. Someone is selling his for me for a good price no problems am just particular about the battery and a feel of a 2G ram phone.....

Like every other high-end htc phones... The camera is sharp, it's strong too... Gracias!

If you've got any interest in picture quality I wouldn't recommend the One M7. What exactly is the offer you got for the phone? State the price range so we can suggest alternatives.

That's the problem with you Guys, you judge based on the false information you read from blogs instead of judging with real facts.... You can check my threads, I placed the phone on sale here on Nairaland when it was 3 months old... According to your blog, the first unit has defective on the camera lens that cause it to produce tint purple color on every picture but there is no such thing on mine.

According to your blog, the first unit has defective on the camera lens that cause it to produce tint purple color on every picture but there is no such thing on mine.

Everything I said was frm a first-hand experience.
First the prurple tint color,
No details in pics when you zoom in, it becomes blurry.
The only advantage to the camera is good pics during low light condition.

Camera aside, that phone is becoming too old to be recommended to a power .
