Military Recaptures Dikwa as Air Chief Tour Operational Units

A concerted effort by the Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Army has led to the recapture of Dikwa town in Borno #State earlier today. A combination of the Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jet and surveillance aircraft tly destroyed three ambush points heavily fortified with vehicle-mounted Anti-Aircraft Guns.

This paved the way for the Nigerian Army to move in and recapture the town with less resistance. Cordon and search operations are currently on-going in the town by the Nigerian Army.

Air Commodore Dele Alonge, Director Public Relations of the Nigerian Airforce has confirmed this development.

Meanwhile the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar has,concluded his tour of operational units to acertainthe state of equipment and morale of troops, especially those nvolved in the counter-insurgency operation against Boko Haram terrorist group in North-East Nigeria.

AVM Abubakar disclosed that the purpose of his visit was to obtain first-hand information about the operational readiness of the men and equipment with a view to enabling the NAF to requip and restrategise for operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Units visited by the CAS include 64 Air Defence Group, Makurdi; 75 Strike Group, Yola; 97 Special Operational Group, Port-Harcourt and 99 Air Combat Training Group, Kainji.

The chadians claimed they had recaptured it in March but it looks like their troops withdrew and BH occupied it again.

you will always be disappointed even when he is performing. You will face disappointments till the next for years with the miracle the president will perform. Nigeria military under GEJ is the same under PMB but with different level morale. NIGERIA ARMY WILL BE GREAT AGAIN and all tanoinds will be disappointed, what their clueless master cannot achieved in 6years PMB will make it possible in two years.

Where did Boko Haram capture since Buhari took over?

They are got their stupid info from a shameless report by ThisDay which twisted the claim by govs of Borno and Yobe that 5 LGA were still under BH control.Thisday now headlined it as 'BH capture 5 LGAs',yet no other paper reported it that way.
Even when I tried educating some as to the true story,some out of their hatred and bitter souls, preferred to go with the twisted version,since it suited their aims of hating on PMB and d new party in power.l had to leave them to their folly and mischief.
