If it's true that it's brighter than 5w AKT as you mentioned above, you will be shocked to discover that the true power rating of that bulb is above 1w. I once posted my discovery here on 3w bulbs I bought. What made me test the power rating was that, the new 3w and my existing 5w have the similar brightness. Lo and behold, in reality, so called 3w bulb was pulling slightly higher power than 5w.

with the size of that bulb am seeing, it will pull nothing less than 7w. that it is written 1w on the carton, doesn't mean it is truly 1w

On a good day, 1w led bulb should not shine brighter than 5w led bulb. If it does, then something is not right.
That's why they didn't write the LM rating on the carton.

If 5w reads slightly above its original ratings then it is better to get d 1w dat may like reads 2w. At end na d brightness matter.

I use an Energy meter ordered from AE. The meter is connected to my inverter output, then load is connected to the meter. I isolate any load I want to test if need be. Also, it shows me real time total consumption.
