Who Are We?
What defines us?
Religion according to dictionary
definition, is the belief in and worship
of supernatural controlling power,
especially a personal god or gods.
Another definition states that it is a
particular system of faith and
worship.
When we look at the world today, so
many people have lost the true
meaning of religion, the way we
worship who or what we want to
worship is not the problem but what
is really the problem is when we let
other people’s judgment cloud our
reasoning for finding or knowing the
truth, so many wars that we
experience in this world today is as a
result of men who have lost their
view in true worship to their creator
or maker, men who believe rather in,
what they are told about their GOD
(gods) than searching for their own
truth.
WHO WE ARE?
In the world, most times, religion
causes division and discrimination
among many people, because this is
who some of us turn out to be self-
righteous, holiest of holies and this
is because a particular group, that
maybe worshipping the same God,
looks down on other people who
worship same God but does not
belong to their group as inferior.
Sometimes some Christians believes,
they are the one doing the will of God
and others are condemned to hell,
but is this what religion should really
be like or what we as Christians
should make it to be,
Jesus never discriminated, he brings
everyone together, he says that he
has come into the world to redeem
sinners, but what does the world do
to sinners today, they gossip about
them, instead of preaching to them
they judge them, this is why
Jefferson said “ WHY I HATE
RELIGION, BUT LOVE JESUS ”.

JESUS CRITICIZES THE RELIGIOUS
LEADERS
He talked about how we should
practice and follow what the religious
leaders tells us but not to follow in
his example, but do you know what
we see in the world today, like the
JIHAD (what we call the holy war) , A
man or woman just wakes up in the
morning and say if people don’t
convert to Islam they should be
killed, or a man will say to his follow
Christians or Muslim, that if you kill
people, you are fighting for God and
you will go to heaven and there will
be a lot of great things waiting for
you, like virgins etc. Gone are the
days when people go to wars in the
bible, in the name of God, I believe
since Jesus came into the world,
biblical wars also came to an end.
I believe that is not what God wants
from us, I believe he wants us to
know the truth, that he created us all
and he could fight his battle himself,
let us not be blinded by one man’s
quest for blood, if any one says it is
right to kill in God’s name then that
person is a big liar, because God can
fight his own battles, a God that we
pray to in times of trouble and
believe he will answer, could also
fight for himself.
We must learn to worship our God in
truthfulness, we should not just
believe what any one tells us, like
worshipping on Sunday is wrong or
worshipping on Saturday is wrong,
the bible says the new
commandment is not written on
stones but rather in our hearts, so
the heart holds the conscience that
judges our action, let’s not be
deceive by what we were told by
either our parents, friends, pastors
etc.
