Recently, I was customromphobic

I had saved up for almost 6 months to purchase a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3... I used to use Tecno phones and they lack OTA upgrade or any other form of official upgrade. I needed to be able to upgrade my device's OS so that was when I made up my mind to stop using MTK devices.

I saved up for a SGS3 and when I got it, it came it 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It was the GT-I9300, international version and when Kitkat came out there was unfortunately no official update for my version... I was heart broken o

I saw articles online ing custom ROMs and I was anxious to try it out... Alas! I hard-bricked my 3 months old SGS3... Even Jtag couldn't revive it...

Ever since then, I hated rooting or any custom thingy on an android phone... I got the T-mobile SGS4 earlier this year and was on Stock ROM until last week when I got madly obsessed with the 5.0 update (T-mobile haven't made an official update and I doubt they will)...
I was tempted to try installing a custom rom again!

I've tried before and I failed...
Well, I knew what went wrong the last time (I flashed the wrong recovery.img file)....
I was determined to try and do everything right this time... I successfully flashed Beanstalk, cynogen ROMs and then I came across this beauty!

I can tweak IMEI numbers too

Isn't she just a darling? Your ion and perseverance will take you places. Good one! I wish I could describe vividly the ish with my Lumia 925. I am really giving up on it, the damn phone is a slowpoke and I have this craving for S6 edge but the price is still way up there. What really bought my interest, was the fact i could get its look alike by simply purchasing an SG4, getting to you and that should be it but then how does it modify my screen-side features cum camera image quality? I learnt Samsung partnered with Mary Kay on the resolution of the SG6...

I'm sorry.... I only know how to tweak the IMEI numbers of MTK devices

Is your phone rooted? Because there's already an official 5.0 upgrade for your phone from At&t...
You should try unrooting your phone and use the OTA method to upgrade your phone's Operating system.... Or better still, the firmware from sam-mobile and flash it via Odin....

i've used odin before back then when i had s3 and flashed some custom roms but its bin long.. If its IOS am a soft. king, andriod is pretty complicated.. Soo yes its confusing.. Pls if we cn instant message i will appreciate it.

Have you installed a custom rom before?

Your device should be rooted and it should have a recovery app installed.... Like CWM recovery...

To get that, ROM Manager from play store...

If you need help, please feel free to me personally...

the file for your device...

Mine is SGH-M919

Flash it via Odin...


There's a warning that devices with locked bootloader should not use this method else, it could brick the phone.... Devices like AT&T...

I don't know any other method

One guy tried it on his S4 and it worked but it didn't work when I tried it on mine... You might be lucky.... Try it and see

This particular ROM works for only S4 but there are other Custom ROMs for S3
