A middle aged woman simply identified as Mama Joseph, is currently at war with her children after her sons beat up and injured a man who has been in a romantic relationship with her.

Mama Joseph was said to be dating a man who is the same age as her first son, Joseph.
The lover boy identified as Maurice, is said to be in the habit of visiting the woman's home located at Adeola Odeku street, Victoria Island, to visit the woman, a widow, and most times, the night there.

But the bubble burst when one of Joseph's friends who is also close to Maurice, confided in Joseph that Maurice is dating his mother and has been regaling them with how me makes love to the woman.

Joseph was said to have been very angry with the revelation and in league with his younger brother Mark, decided to lay out plans on how to catch Maurice red-handed and visited their mother from their own house last weekend and when it was time to leave, they laid ambush for the lover boy.

True to the reports they got, Maurice came late in the night with the intention of ing the night there as usual, not knowing that his cover had been blown.

After waiting for a while, they went back to the house and met Maurice naked in their mother's bed and the angry sons descended on him, giving him the beating of his life.

A close relation narrated the incident thus:
"The widow’s sons visited their mother from their houses near Eko Hotel because their late father built so many houses in Lagos before he died of illness.

They usually visit their mother and after whiling away time, they would return to their houses.
So, on Sunday, the sons told her that they were leaving and would see her the next day but unknown to her, they hid in their friend’s house close by.

Immediately the gold digger entered the house, they waited for some time before they went back into the house without their cars.

When they knocked and their mother opened the door and asked whether they forgot something, they said yes and were moving from the sitting room to their mother’s room where they saw the man without shirt, lying in bed.

They attacked him and Mark used a bottle to break his head and the woman screamed to attract the security man and the house help."
The case was reported to the police who quickly swooped in and arrested Joseph and Mark and took the injured Maurice to the hospital.
