Let's dream /aim high!!

Won't it be nice for us all or most of us to meet for a picnic this Christmas or next? It's just a dream! that is worth considering. I know they are[b] so so so [/b]  many obstacles like we all live in different states and country's and then how do we fund the picnic but i know that we have very smart people in this forum! where there is a will there is a way. so lets brainstorm and map out a strategy of achieving this dream in the near future.

We've been having dreams like this for a long, long time. Unfortunately I don't have any expertise in the area of events management. If there's any Nairaland member who is trustworth and ready to take the challenge I'm willing to lend my .

We can have one such meeting in each of the main countries our are from - US, Nigeria (Lagos), and UK. It will be a nice way for the singles to hook up . Search the web for Naijaryders Reunion and you'll see that this is something other web communities have done before.

I call this a nice idea, but needs proper planning by the right people. I mean dedicated guys who can really make things happen. We need someone to handle the Logistics, and firstly how many people are down with this idea cos Majority Rules.

Nice... It's a good idea. But there's always a but. We have minors on here? Do u think our parents will let us go to a place filled with Nigerians_{(y'all know why that Nigerians is stressed right?)} , where's there's a possibilty of hook ups?

Anyways, i am sooo ready to meet y'all. For US destination we choose Texas.. Houston/dallas forth-worth.

Nigeria ryders US and UK reunion were of da hook and i don't think they are as much we are (i was formerly on naijaryders anyway).

As for those reppin Lag.we could always arrange something. Get sojo to make customise tshirts and wrist bands for us..meet outdoor for like 3 hrs on a staurday,..party..take pics and come show off here on nairaland.unblockandhide.com

I guess I'm gonna have to be with the Lagos people because of my proximity to the area, and I think this is a lovely idea. The enthusiasm that people have shown each time it's raised is a sign that this is something in demand.
