Am I supposed to update my marital status on the NIMC portal before I submit application for port processing?

(A) One copy of guarantor's valid Nigerian port data page.
AND
(B) One copy of your guarantor's NIN slip
OR
(C) One copy of guarantor's valid driver's license.

They told me DIY are not given date except those that went through any officer.I saw so many things there,I was told the brown files are team DIY while the white files are for their own client.If your document is in white file you will capture very fast and be given a date for collection.

Good evening house, please I did my capturing at Ado Ekiti on the 19th of January, 2023. When I checked the port status online yesterday Tuesday 09/05/2023, it was on the second to the last stage "PORT PRODUCTION IS IN PROGRESS" but when I checked it today, this is what is showing, can someone explain this to me. Thanks

I am having the same problem and this has happened before. When this happens, it normally happens to everyone. Absolutely nothing to worry about; just a minor glitch in the system.

It wasn’t like that. Those with brown files are fresh applicant while the white files are renewal. They might be some delay in attending to team DIY yourself because team DYI did not have officer handling their files, so that is the reason why team DYI need a lot of patience.

This is not true. I personally saw a fresh applicant using the white file. I can tell you for sure that in NIS Festac, brown file is DIY while the white file is for people that have officers handling their files and maybe for renewal too.

it's pure lie bro,there is no specific file for DIY,brown envelope is for both new and renewal Applications......my was DIY/Renewal, people that used agent and immigration,we used them same brown envelope.....green envelope is for lost port....I did not see much white envelope that day.....

Please I need help, since March 21st 2023 that I did capturing at shagamu my port status is still on port production.

For team DIY at Ibadan. I don't think there will any issue, I did DIY and I've collected my port, same with wife, she captured last week. However, experiences differs. Nobody will demand money from you.
The only challenge is that you will have to wait till last batch before capturing. As at the time I did mine I left the office by 8:00pm
