I just want to know who cooks better the male or female. I see a lot of eateries and homes employing males as their Chief chef/stewards.

Who cooks better?

Calabar men cook better than men from other parts of Nigeria and even much better than most Yourba women( who always think that boiling tomatoes with pepper is soup).

We must give it to the guys (male chefs)…they are always efficacious in whatever they do…even in making of cloths they standout.not to talk of in the saloon.

True. I agree. Men are better cooks than women. You ain't gonna see any famous female chefs. In fact, when someone says "chef" only the image of a guy with a white cap cooking comes to mind (no females).

The food or "chef" industry is male dominated. I wonder if men are  SOMETIMES overrated just because in our imaginary cooking is traditionally a female role">
dont get me wrong, they are some excellent male chefs. But there are also female one too. Even though we tend to hear more about the men because they outnumber the female chefs.

I have never seen men used as parties/events cook. Men cant cook for a large crowd, the females does that.

It all depend on professionalism for both.

Then try and cook for just 50 people with firewood know the right measurements of ingredient to put in stew, soup, jollof rice or fried rice. Cook it without too much salt or saltless, then you know wat i meant.
