I don't know if anyone else has noticed this act, in Muslim men, especially Mallams. Youruba Muslim men also do this, washing their kinni with water from their ablution kettle. It seems strange cos I think it's only women who wash the kinni. I haven't come across any christian man doing this, and so I think it's a bit awkward. Is there any Muslim man here who can enlighten me?, I'm really confused o.

it is in d religion.. We call it purification.. An act we must perform always and before any ablution.
