I am trying to with COREN and I need to write a technical report. Can anybody provide a sample of the report? I'm not sure where to start.

Can you give more detail into what you really need. And also are you a ed member of NSE before now.

I just need an outline of the report and the kind of info expected. And I am not a member of NSE.

Then i really don't know what you want then because you need to be ed with NSE before you can be with COREN even if the registration is for a business name. If you can provide a little bit detail, then i can help provide something useful to you as requested.

I'm seriously confused. I am an engineer trying to do my COREN registration. I'm not ing a business name. And I don't need to be a member of NSE. I've paid for my form, I just need to submit a technical report on my work experience.

I'm wondering what the confusion is all about.

You can with COREN without ing with NSE. If you are MNSE, you will not write qualifying exams and you will submit ONE copy of report you submitted to NSE with your NSE certificate. Am going to be rather brief on this. You will be required to present three(3) bound (NOT spiral binding)copies of your technical report. I used navy blue colour in mine. This is what it looks like: Postgrad. Practical Expr in… U put the field you wish to specialise( for me Electronics and Communications) Engineering. Submitted by……(ur name). Presented to COREN (in full). In partial fulfillment of the requirements for registration as an Engr.
Table of Content: Declaration(by u – Name, Date, Sign)
Certification( by a COREN ed engr who MUST WRITE his name, sign and Reg. no with date – one of your proposers/sponsors)

U state your academic qualifications and other professional(engineering) training you’ve undergone that makes you feel qualified to be an engineer, your work expr and diff engr equipt, syst and tools you’ve worked with. For me, I started with my NYSC expr
Your present job/job description. Talk briefly about the ops principles of the equipt u now work with providing schematics. Include your designs/projects. I have a higher qualification I put that as a Research Work(dat is my project/design for that prog).

I don’t really like leaving my details online else I would have given you my report as a sample. I will advise, be weary of OLD engrs!(as sponsors) They OWE a lot of professional dues and you might have to pay those debts for your stuff to be processed. I hope this helps.

@Arsenally, just read ur post. Am on field service in d far north as I write. My COREN tech report is on my home PC Am only wt my Lappy. Shd be home b4 20th Feb. I'll send u a sample. Bt, mine is Comms and Electronics so it wl just be a guide.
@Obizee316, u dnt need all those. All u need 2 wt COREN is at least 4yrs postgrad practical expr. U wl be happier if u hv B.Sc not HND. COREN is a regulator while NSE is a professional "club". COREN wl nt fyt 4 ur welfare in d workplace(NSE does) bt COREN certifies ur competence. Read earlier posts, drop ur qtns here added info. I hope this helps. Hv a pleasant day

CAN SOMEBDY PLS ADVICE ME AM CONFUSED , i got a job immediately after graduation as a steam boiler technician,trained by d company on steam boiler operation and maintenance after two yrs of working wit d company i was mobilized by NYSC i was working and serving as well for 1yr nw am tru wit d service having a total of 3yrs experience ,now my question is ,can i say i have 3yrs postgraduate experience, can i wit COREN or NSE. if i wit coren or nse do i still need operating lincence on dat feild PLS UR ADVICE
