Its by E L James. I have the trilogy but I don't live in Lagos. I heard it'll soon be made into a movie. I won't watch it sha. Its not everything the protagonist did that I liked

I am a book lover and after reading 50 Shades...all I can say is "so bad writing still exists?"
The book is as demeaning to women as it is bad writing in 3 volumes as it an insult to sado-masochism

I loved Twilight to bits...it may be a bit sexist...but it transports you, you believe...which a good fantasy book should do
50 Shades does not just cut it, IMO...not hating, just stating

Finally finished reading it.
It wasn't all that.
Had to skip the sex scenes though
Got a lil boring later.
But loved the final part where
The romance came in.

I have read better books though.

There's just something about the book that gets me smiling. Better books have definitely been written but there's just sumthing endearing about the story. Maybe cos of the way Christian loves Ana to death. Yeah, d sex was over plenty but the sadism stuff wasn't exactly dark, it was pleasurable most times. I just didn't like that Ana was too weak for Christian.
If I had written it, I would have made Ana give Christian more fire and not give in so easily most times. Looking toward the movie though, I think Stephen Amell would be perfect for Grey, Ian somerhalder though beautiful doesn't have the body. I hope the movie tones down a bit on the sex scenes sha or else it would be icky.

Well... Part 1 reminded me of me. But I couldn't connect well to part 2. And yes. The sex scenes should definitely be reduced.

Lol, funny enough I liked part 2 better, I breezed through book one and jumped a lot of stuff I found unnecessary but I liked book 2. Infact I read book 2 to the end first when BK 1 was boring the life out of me and then went back to book one before BK 3.

The high point of the whole story for me was in BK 2 where Grey, fearing Ana would leave dropped down to his knees and was willing to be her submissive, soooo touching. Also in bk 3 when he was willing to liquidate all his assets for her.
'Take everything' he'd said. Soooooo romantic.
I love the book jare.

Yeah! Book 3 when he asked her if it was all about the money I was so pissed! I felt he should have known Ana better and suspected something was wrong. Was also thrilled about the pregnancy
