Matthew 2:1-12: Even from Jesus' childhood, we see the Father's miraculous provision in operation. A caravan of Magi, wise men from the east, make a long journey to bring priceless gifts to the child Jesus. Researchers have estimated these gifts to be worth around $200,000,000 in modern currency. John 19: 23-24- Jesus wore a seamless robe, which was a very costly garment. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2-Paul commands the church to give as God has prospered them, indicating that God prospering His people was a normative part of church life. 1 Timothy 6:17-God gives us richly all things to enjoy. Philemon 18-Onesimus was a runaway servant of a man named Philemon. Paul meets Onesimus, leads him to Christ, then writes a letter of commendation to Philemon. In this verse, Paul offers to repay Philemon all of Onesimus' debts and back wages. This was no doubt a great deal of money. In order to make an offer like this, Paul must have been a man of substantial means. Psalm 112:1-3-Wealth and riches are in the house of those that fear God and delight in His commandments. Psalm 35:27-God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant. Psalm 1:1-3-Those who shun ungodly influences and meditate on God's Word day and night will prosper in all that they do. 2 Chronicles 20:20-Trust God's prophets, and you will prosper. Deuteronomy 8:18-God gives us the power to get wealth, that His covenant may be established in the earth. I can give you many instances in the bible where God delights in the prosperity of His servant. So, stop criticizing men of God. If you criticize you are saying you cant give, you cant change lives, you cant influence your world and, the Kingdom of God is not meant for you. I hope this will go to the front page. 1 Like |

Hmmmmmm Jesus said before you can serve him you have to let go off all worldly things Jesus said its easier for a camel to through the eye of a needle than a rich man entering the kingdom of god His parable of the RICH FOOL shows that riches would push your focus away from things of God Lazarus and the rich man: the rich man went to hell and lazarus went to heaven Zaccheus was asked to give out his riches to the poor Nicodemus He borrowed a horse/ donkey for his truimphant entry He made reference on the widow that gave the smallest amount and ignored people that gave more If he was so rich, his secretary: judas won't have betrayed him for 30pieces of silver since he was incharge of his ministry's money He was buried in another mans tomb In summation jesus showed reasons why accumulation of weight is detrimental to the pursuit of heaven Jesus wore seamless robe yet food he didn't pay his taxes...he had to perform a miracle to get money from a fish gut to pay 4 Likes |
