I am not being feminist but there is a research that states that men gossip more than or as much as women. How true is that?

In what way do men gossip more than women?

Men and women gossip about different things, and, needless to say, it's the notion of what one gossips about that makes it 'acceptable.
While women may gossip about the neighbors or everyday things, it's men who indulge in gossip to boost their egos. Men gossip more but they are subtle and discreet about it unlike the women. But i think what actually make them (men) to gossip is boredom, it has a lot to do with it.

Women used to gossip more, but these days,its like men have taken over and they are very bad at it.

men gossip more than women but the difference is that it remains a secret while when ladies gossip, they turn around and snitch on their fellow "GOSSIPEES" which ends up with them washing their dirty linen outside and leading to the parties fighting sometimes cos of it
