It is easy to reject the salary if you are already rich. Would he or anyone do the same if they'd moved from a 9-5 to the governorship?

The fact is most of our governors or governor ship aspirants are rich already. You and I know that poor people do not contest and win political position in Nigeria at the top level. I still insist making political offices less attractive is one of the best way to reduce political killings and curruption in our polity. Thanks

@Panafrican: No man is perfect. In as much as you believe that none is perfect then it is quite unwise to say that he is not a great man. As regards the issue of the stadium, he (Schwarzenegger) revoked the city of Graz's right to the use of his name.


Maybe you should go back to the internet to do your homework Stanley Tookie Williams III was a notorious gang who had committed murders in the course of robberies, sentenced to death, and eventually executed. He refused to help police investigate his gang, and was implicated in attacks on guards and women, as well as multiple escape plots. You put it as if the man was some kind of an innocent man but NO, he was guilty of the offenses leveled against him.


Another issue, you raised was him having a child after his marriage. There are a whole lot of things a 'married man' must not open up in the heat of disagreement knowing that the marriage involves your children. He must have a reason so you and I can never tell. The greatest man in the world Bill Clinton had a sex scandal and the world did not come to an end.



Thus, judging someone is not by his shortcomings but his achievement. At least, none of our governors in Nigeria have been able to do that.

He cheated on his wife , is he going to accuse anybody for that? schwarzenegger is a fake and an overwehlmly ambitious wannabe.He just got married with this lady from the kennedy family for political reasons. One still re an interview with CNN where his accomplice interviewer hinted that the U.S constitution should change to accommodate his candidacy for the oval office. It was shocking ! how can a whole country change its constitution to accommodate a foreign born to run for president?? !!!

This being said , a nigerian offical making $1.4 million/year does not forcibly make the former californian governor a great man that is one reason why his country of origin rescinded the decision about naming a stadium after him. To avoid being humiliated,he asked not to be associated with the stadium.
