scandal as you say but not facts that's why he is not in prison
Your logic is not consistent. According to you, every corrupt person, not people involved in scandals, is in jail.

THE POLICY WAS MEARNT TO REDUCE CORRUPTION BUT NIGERIANS LIKE U AND ALL THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS HAVE STOPPED HIM AND NOW THE THIEVES ARE CHANGING THEIR LOOTED OLD NOTES TILL 10TH OF FEB.
EVERY TIME A POLICY THAT WILL CHANGE THE COUNTRY IS BROUGHT FORWARD, CORRUPT POLITICIANS WILL USE THE POOR NIGERIANS THAT WOULD HAVE BENEFITTED TO KICK AGAINST IT.

The guy who you quoted as corrupt is not in jail, therefore you labeled him corrupt wrongly. The politicians changing their money to new naira are not in jail, therefore they are not corrupt.

Why are you contradicting yourself?

In as much as I want to agree with advocatejare, you only quoted scriptures backing what Jehovah's witnesses practice. If you want to counter someone's argument successfully, I think you should have quoted a part of the scriptures which gives instances where a man can take/eat blood or where the bible suggests taking blood is not wrong. So far, you quoted few scriptures which all suggest "followers of the bible" should not eat blood.
What exactly is your scriptural backing for using blood transfusion, that's what I'd like to know.
Or are you trying to use the supreme court judgement in a religious argument?

Amazing the continent with the least economic activity produces the lowest emissions. I wonder if there's some correlation between energy usage and economic output. Maybe there's also a correlation between the types of energy used and types of emissions released.

How can exporting syringe be a major boost to the Nigerian economy

Apparently, many people do not seem to understand the meaning of the word "major"

So all roads in Nigeria are good. Why are we now complaining of bad roads in this country. Everyone is just coming out to claim their states have equally good roads lol

10bn budgeted for Aso rock clinic and it's not capable of doing "medical check-ups" for the president...lol

To people ing this government, if this country was a private establishment and they are appointed as the CEO, can they spend 10bn on a clinic that's not functional?

He was beaten black and blue by Oyinlola
He sacked several teachers and he wasn't so liked for some of his actions. Calling him the best Osun ever had is because time has ed since he was voted out of that seat

You look at what they say, you know they have a clue on how to make the country better, then you see what they do(how they loot and implement policies inefficiently), and you know they are just deliberately moving the country backwards.

Even our politicians wan japa.
Baba say abroad isn't so great. After sometime in Nigeria, you'll feel immense greatness.
Well, since you need advice, I will tell you great places and tell you the great things they offer

Lagos: no traffic, very safe, no flood, stable electricity, very low unemployment, ease of doing business

Abuja: great weather, cheap housing, very low unemployment.

Kano: impressive religious tolerance, very low unemployment, high standard of living, very safe

In fact, you can see greatness everywhere you step foot in Nigeria

You seem to have forgotten where you are coming from. Humans will be humans, I pray things don't take a nasty turn, but should you find yourself in a position where you don't earn enough anymore, you'd receive the mockery you've always received.
Invest your money wisely, buy shares, invest in businesses. Since his money couldn't be put in a t when he was earning significantly more, why should your money be in a t property now.
But again, people will be people, you will still give him your money and he will still mock you later.

The joke is on parents, now they have to pay more for less. They have to pay lazy schools for doing unproductive things.
Parents around us have hardly been of the habit of engaging their kids themselves. When kids come back from school, the norm is for kids to change their uniforms and go play down the street or get down to watching TV.
Despite enrolling kids in school, parents still have a big role to play in the careers of their children. Children's creativity should be encouraged by parents by making children to engage in productive activities immediately after school.
Does your kid like mathematics, stir the interest further by providing him with resources to nurture his interest. These things do not have to be expensive, few texts and a good reward for pursuing these interests will go a long way in making these interests turn to habits, after which, they no longer see it as a burden but a way of life.
I only mentioned mathematics but it could have been anything, it could have been interest in history, it could be coding, it could be finance, it could be science.
A lot of our kids have the ability to learn more than what they are being taught in school on their own if they are carefully guided.

Rape against women gathers more attention than rape against men and it's only logical. Rape against women is usually accompanied by excessive force which at times lead to gruesome assault or murder or the victim. In cases of rape of underage girls, some of their body parts get mutilated. This is not usually the case for men.
Another factor we need to consider is the ratio of victims on the two sides. The number of women that get raped can be said to higher to the number of men that get raped.
Not shining the light on the disturbing number of rape on our women will be a terrible thing, think of the number of women that have their lives taken away from them in the events of sexual assault. Think of those gang rapes that happen frequently in our society, think of amount of sexual assault and molestations that happen on our streets and in our schools. Are you fine with the little publicity and very few campaigns to have these stopped? Are you fine with our women not having the freedom they deserve?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking a thing away from the seriousness of the rape on men. What is wrong is wrong, we all need to hands to put a stop to rape in our society. We need to educate young boys and girls on the need to respect each other's rights and be polite, maintaining good characters in the society.
A better tomorrow starts today when we educate and place in high regards men and "women" rights, our women are special, they deserve to live and enjoy life!!!

SAY NO TO RAPE

We need to know why laws are made and we need to apply these reasons when enforcing the laws. She was arrested for violating a law which is right but in the process of prosecuting her, the same law was violated. A rowdy session as witnessed there is a direct violation of that very law she was arrested for.

And this istration is fixing these bad roads rather than sharing the money. Isn't it the right thing to do?

If you don't find it difficult understanding stuffs you won't see a problem with what I said. Try to be critical. How could someone compare the best roads in another country with the worst roads in his / her country? Where is the sense in that?

You compare bad roads with bad roads and good roads with good roads. You don't make it appear as though there are no good roads anywhere in Nigeria. That we are a developing nation doesn't mean that we should be mentally enslaved to thinking that we have nothing at all. I dare say that there is nothing good or bad in Nigeria that cannot be found elsewhere. I have travelled around the world considerably, and I know this for a fact. For instance, insecurity, unemployment, corruption, good roads, quality healthcare, systemic inadequacies etc, is everywhere.

Now, the question is, are there bad roads in Dubai? We aren't arguing about the number (t.km) of bad roads in Dubai versus the number (t.km) of bad roads in Nigeria.

I see many reasons no to continue this discussion with you. From your argument, you're saying we are doing our best and Nigeria isn't a bad place to live. Cheers, I don't argue with people blind to facts and statistics.

The real mediocrity is inferiority complex.

Why would any mentally balanced person compare the best roads in another country with the worst roads in his / her country?

Are you saying that there are no bad roads in Dubai? Abeg shift!

The whole country was indeed in flames over Fashola's remark. Please, quit the childish exxageration.

You think say na only you sabi share link, oya check out these roads across Nigeria. We may not have gotten there, but that does not mean anyone should make it appear as though there aren't any good roads in Nigeria. Are you a learner?

Who come be the mediocre now?

https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/3627472/10-cities-best-road-infrastructure

Google search bad roads in Dubai and compare, you're getting angry for the wrong reason. Majority of our roads will fail the quality test, if you should get angry, you should get angry that our roads are this bad.
