The policy is simple ANY INBOUND TRANSFER MUST BE PAID IN REMITTED CURRENCY OR US DOLLARS WHEN SUCH CURRENCY IS NOT AVAILABLE.

Yes he's right. CBN impose a strict restriction on third party companies who act as middle man.
Companies like transferwise, sendwave and the likes are affected.

It has to do with dollars and naira Sha. The thing is you can't receive dollar like before. Transferwise has suspect sending or receiving cash to Nigeria. The rest now has a weird option of receiving cash. That's you'll have to walk into the bank and receive dollars at CBN. About 380/$ while, these third party companies can pay you upto 410/$.

I read a headline that CBN wants to ban Nigerians from buying and selling of Bitcoin. This country is going backward.

Use sendwave and receive USD from any access bank branch nearest to you.

Sendwave is still the same, I experienced that last December, money being sent to my access bank was blocked. It's new CBN policy, you can either send it to your domicilliary or go pick it up in dollars from any bank

Is it only from abroad that's difficult to receive money. 6k transferred to me from GTB is still hanging since MORNING. Its third time am having this issue this week.. it is mostly afterwards reversed to sender. And this is causing friction in my business.
