If she has not been debited, you can easily open a savings at UBA and move the money. It's 5 working days. A First bank staff was even the one who advised me to go to UBA or Stanbic after wasting two weeks.

Please I need clarification.

My WAEC has a different date of birth (year and month are correct but the day is wrong, it's 18th instead of 8th)

WAEC has stopped correcting date of birth.


I have already sworn an affidavit and used it, along side my WAEC result as proof of English to gain ission for September 2021.


I am thinking of writing a short note/cover letter explaining this when applying for my visa.

But:

Is it necessary I write this short note/ cover letter?

If it is necessary, please at what stage do I get to submit this letter? Is it during the online application or during biometrics?


Also please, to whom do I address this letter to?

I picked up our visas on Monday but my daughter's BRP letter was missing. So I sent them an email requesting for it.

They sent the BRP letter to me this morning but later on, they sent me another email asking me to return the port to the VAC for the visa error to be corrected.

I was a little confused but later I discovered that they had stated her visa expiration (the vignet sticker) as Oct 2022, instead of April 2021 that the rest of us have.


My problem now is that I am worried about how long it will take them to return the port to me. So I am tempted to just ignore since the visa dates appear valid for travel. Gurus in the house, please what do you think?

Or has anyone had to return their port for correction? If yes, how long did it take for them to send back the port?
