many nigerians just dey waste here... no opportunity at all to showcase what they've got

Exactly. Many talents wasting because no one to help them harness their full potential. In developed abroad countries, they don't waste talents. They nurture the talents to bring them good money which will also bring you who own the talent good money

No one has the right to dictate to you what to celebrate sha. Celebrate your small or big wins. Your huge wins will always look 'small' to someone out there anyways so just do you. Some Nigerians believe that you shouldn't celebrate your new car, visa your new house, marriage, your baby dedication, weight loss goal, etc.

If your celebration makes anyone unhappy, that's their headache. Do you.

Nigeria has been sold to China through loan to build railway lines that are being vandalized now.

Common sense says Nigeria can't pay back. China cash in and you dem fvkers still around as labour.

All you wishes to relocate will
come to

But I will like to share you a secret no one will tell you, until you arrive in a first world country...

”I just graduated college with $100,000+ in debt”! People clap,
celebrate, and even hug you.

”I just got married and spent $30,000+ for one day”! People
clap, celebrate, and even hug you.

“I just got a loan for $400,000 to buy my first home”! People
clap, celebrate, and even hug you.

“I just got a loan for $40,000+ for a new car”! People clap,
celebrate, and even hug you.

That’s $570,000+ in total DEBT that most people are
drowning
in but they are feeling GOOD about it because they are
being CELEBRATED for it!!!

Goodluck
I graduated from a school in Europe and I didn't owe a dime.

When I'm ready to marry,I will never borrow cos I cut my clothes according to my available materials.

I work and saving up to buy my house cos I'm not stupid.

I bought my first car as a student by just doing some jobs, I didn't have to borrow cos I'm not foolish.

Goodluck in your inordinate quest to discourage youngsters from pursuing their dreams out of that shithole your politicians have destroyed.

It takes x amount of Nigerians to destroy the system there. The place is getting too full of our brothers, I would check elsewhere.

You can't destroy the system. They have processes and institutions in place to curtail excesses of people.

if I ever want to leave Nigeria for abroad, I promise myself that it will be for tour and return back when I had enough of it

as fun as Nigerians that's travelling want us to believe abroad is/was, they've their own disadvantages too just like Nigeria

as it is today in USA, one drug addict can enter where you're catching fun and started shooting anyhow

I'm not leaving Nigeria and I don't have any hope of sending my kids abroad too for school, they'll school in best private universities in this country

Maybe when they get to the leadership there. There is little you can do as citizen if you're being ruled by wrong set of people

The way folks are running to Canada..I'm starting to get tempted myself.. I wonder how many people from UK have relocated there too..

..at the rate at which things are going, Nigerians will soon turn Ontario into Peckham cheesy
A friend, an English, oyinbo for that matter says he's finding all the fulfillment in Canada. In his words 'the UK has become a shithole'

My only concern is that if all these countries take our best brains, we will just be left with the senseless idiots that keep shouting:

Buhari is working

Tinubu is the right man for 2023.

Relocating and where sane and developed is a huge achievement.
Which country are you
Patriotic9ja(m): 10:07am On Jan 04, 2021
Same people celebrating are the ones that will still mess up that country for other Africans or Nigerians. Las las, Nigeria as a country is not bad, but we the citizens are the problem of the country. Until we individually/collectively take responsibilities and change our ways, the mess will continue. We like shifting blames, yet we are part of the problems.

Personally, Nigeria is one of the best place to be. Look at how they are destroying their own country online for the world to see. And you think your host country will respect you as immigrants? Never. A wife who talks bad of her family in the presence of her husband and in-laws is not wise. She is indirectly reducing her own value before her in-laws.....

I hope many people here will take time to read the screenshot below....

It is pointless debating with anyone living in Nigeria. Once you leave Nigeria and land in any other country (especially outside of Africa), you will realize that Nigeria is worse than a shithole. How can you debate with someone who marvels at the construction of freaking flyovers or pedestrian bridges?

All those of u shouting Canada Canada Canada are childish and are highly immature....

if there is an interchange that is if you carry All Nigerians to Canada and Vice versa....I bet you after 5years come back and compare the 2 countries,,,you will be surprise to see how overdeveloped Nigeria would be and how underdeveloped Canada would be..

How Bad/Good a country is a reflection of its Citizens and their Mindset...Fix the fundamental problem and not stop seeking short term solutions by traveling outside...

Lazy youths deceiving themselves, thinking abroad is heaven that’s why most of them end up in jail, on the streets begging for food and doing devastating menial jobs, Africans always running to an organised place, after disorganising their place..

Those bad Nigerians you mention are either in jail, awaiting sentencing or some time away from being arrested.

Unlike Nigeria, these countries have no room for impunity. You can't bribe the police or the judge.

Commit the crime, do the time

Living in Nigeria is comparable to staying in hell.

Leaving Naija is a big achievement...Having stayed for almost nine months in both Ghana and Thailand, I came to realise that Naija is a big jungle.
even Ghana..
