His separation from his wife really wrecked him too hard due to his strong emotional attachment to her, couple with some poor business decisions. The last time I met him at Virgin Group headquarters in the UK, he wasn't the usual cheerful old self in and out. In fact, it's best said he premeditated his death indirectly a long time ago, citing some of his actions and inactions prior to suicide.

This article is indirectly pointing to the wife as the cause of the man's suicide. In my opinion, the wife who is "a trained lawyer and entrepreneur" should sue the writer for the affront to her persona.
