Whoever taught these guys should be hung!

This is what I hate about all these computer centers, they charge you, boss you around but teach you old modules.

These guys have very good prospects but they are being taught by dullards!

Good effort but the sites are all horrible!

Of course I'm a novice. I don't even know what a project means.

International Standards my foot. Can the students compete in the international market?

The sites are horrible. Honestly, those students need a refund.

If these ones are the best students, I wonder how the average students' sites will look like grin grin grin

Funny enough if they were Americans they would get jobs with such horrible websites O.

This dude started learning to code in April. He just got a web developer job paying 80000 USD a year. Check out his portfolio and projects https://devinford.dev/ but those sites. Those guys are in for a very long ride with that.

This is a simple portfolio website, it's not horrible. It can be improved on though.

Normally, portfolio websites are supposed to be simple until animation libraries became a thing.
Portfolio websites are not landing pages.

https://adamwathan.me. That is the creator of tailwind css portfolio website. That guy is a css guru but see how simple his website is.

Yes they can compete real good. That's a simple project they created. They are moving into more advanced ones. You need to encourage them bro.

Everything was built using code. No library was added.

As much as they need encouragement, they also need criticism and to learn how to take one.

The website is okay but the color scheme is terrible. I don't expect them to be UI designers but at least they should have followed a UI template.

Looking forward to their next work.

Thank you all for dropping both positive and negative comments as regards to this mini side project.

This is just a project they built while learning Web Programming under 2 months. Learning HTML5/CSS3 and Javascript within few months is not easy.

They will move into more advanced features in the second-batch of the training soon.

Please they have no experience, knowledge of programming before enrolling.

This ever their first experience and I believe they will improve.

Now this is where the problem is. They should be taught libraries and frameworks to make their work better and faster. No one should be spending days building a mediocre website from the scratch
chrisUmendeche: 8:42pm On Nov 17, 2020
Learning frameworks without learning hand coding will do you more harm than good. You have to learn the basics first, which is learning how to use your hand and code, it has many advantages, if not you will mess everything up when using frameworks. Am a strong advocate of hand coding, it makes you learn and be more creative.
