Any time you turn off, Restart, change SIM or hit flight mode, it resets, put that at the back of your mind.

Thanks boss for the swift response. ed police state HQ already, told it will cost me 25k. I plan on going forward with the tracking, my fear though is the issue with the possibility of changing/erasing the IMEI.

And yes, I have got mi set up on the device.

Adding little extra cash to 25K will get you another fone. Why waste time and money tracking it and you will be without a fone till it's found.
Why not just lock ur device with MI and make it useless to the thief while u count ur loss and move on.

You can do Glo night 1GB more than once a night.

Tbh, i would track it just so i can get a chance to poke the thief in the eyes. I'll get a phone to use then track.
it all depends on how much disposable income the person has.

If they find it, I'll have my phone back and my sweet sweet revenge. Moreover, catching one person may serve as a deterrent which may save another person's phone

I made this post yesterday but it was deleted by mods.
I'm a pretty popular nairalander but I had to create this for privacy sake.
Due to Nigeria's worsening economic condition and my joblessness, I decided to SME class to learn a trade and take charge of my life. I'm tired of submitting cvs looking for jobs without getting positive results.
So far my experience in the training have been awesome. I learned many things. At the moment, we're through with the basics. The next stage of the training will be done online, WhatsApp to be precise for those of us who wish to go further and become the next Dangotes.
The major problem is that I don't have a smart phone. I used to have one but it fell off while I was alighting from the bus in the evening back in December 2018. Since then I couldn't afford to buy a new phone because of my economic condition. I struggled to pay for my SME training, certificate inclusive. Thus buying a phone at this point even second hand is just not possible for me.
Pls and pls anyone here with a smartphone he or she does not need can help me with it. I don't care about brand or condition of the phone. I don't even care if the phone has broken screen or battery problem. All I need is a phone I can use to sign up to WhatsApp and continue my SME training.
