I thought ECOWAS insisted that the ousted president must be reinstalled. Wake up call to the other Africa leaders, when the chips are down, you'll be left to your fate. 3 Likes |

I hope in the future Malians will not forget what the greatest country in Africa i.e Nigeria did for them in the fight to go back to democratic government. They shouldn't go the way of Ghana and their neighbours South Africa. ![]() 18 Likes 1 Share |

If that is what the people of Mali want so be it. Africa needs to develop and doing so will require ousting bad leaders and replacing them with young and visionary leaders not not one old man removed and another old man sworn in.

Better. Let them conduct a free and fair election and return to normalcy. A peaceful Mali will benefit Nigeria and the entire subregion. And those young people who are wishing military take over in Nigeria - just know we have ed that stage. We have the opportunity of changing government every four years through the ballot but we have refused to rise above ethnicity, religious bigotry and 'bambiala' tendencies. Even if the military take over, these problems will still mar their government like we have seen in the past. So let the revolution now crusaders know that ballot revolution is what we need and not some violence or noise on the streets. As much as I hate this istration, we are stuck with it for the next three years or so when their tenure will expire. So let those who want real change get ready and achieve it through the ballot. Thank you!

Wonderful. If anyone could have tackled Nigeria's biggest challenge head-on, it would have been the one with a PhD who's seated like a sheep up there. Unfortunately, he failed Nigerians and failed the entire southern Nigeria. He went there and proved to all of us that politicians are mostly scum. Aiding and abetting looters like it was the reason millions voted for him across ethnic divides. He has given me enough reason to believe that only a Draconian law will eradicate corruption from public life in Nigeria. Draconian problems need Draconian solutions. It's time we start hanging corrupt public officials just as corruption is hanging millions of ordinary Nigerians by the neck and killing us all slowly, snuffing life out of everyone that claims this geographical space as a home. This should be our new clarion call. 11 Likes 1 Share |
