Getting money is hard and maintaining it is even harder, as such we must be very careful as to how we spend it.

So I was discussing with a friend and he told me the biggest amount of money he has ever lost in his life was when he bought a car of 3million Naira after saving for like 3 years, and he didn't use the car for up-to 3 months before he got involved in an accident that almost claimed his life with the car.

I laughed and told him mine was when I used 100,000 to play betting and lost the money while in my university days. Lessons learnt from him was that car is never an investment instead he should have invested the money, mine was that gambling never pays at all...

Guys please share yours lets all learn and be enlightened

Bought a car, Crisler . Electrical fault was too much that the car just wasted like that.

My biggest loss was $75 when I intended buying ssn,socks and other online tools to create an Amazon dropship from a particular darkweb site.I paid in bitcoins and got scammed.

I have learnt my lessons tho,I didn't relent I had to research more by buying more ebooks on better ways to access the market and how to identify legit vendors there.

As at today am a master on the darkweb.

Las Las nobody is perfect. you must at one time in your life spend or loose money on frivolities. but the one I'm always careful is spending money on a gal not related to me. my conscience Dy beat me for that one, because anytime I wan mumu, my mind will call me to order. I ed when I wanted to give a gal 5k for hair after winning 24k for bet, my mind now told me to call my mom and I did and I asked if she needed anything and she said no and I just asked her to send her number for me to check something and I transferred 7k to her. I'm not wicked or stingy, just that some heartbreaking stories I read everyday online Dy vex me.

I lost 400k to mmm Tuesday 12th December 2016.. I will never forget that date.
I was just greedy, my money had matured about two weeks earlier, but I wanted it to stay close to December, to flex life.. But then tragedy struck..

Well, I learnt a tough lesson, cos since then I haven't lost any money through any investment like ponzi or pyramid schemes. I learnt that no nigerian can ever any money making scheme free of charge without something sinister or something they stand to gain, my country men will hide any opportunity that actually makes money.

I lost 755k to an ex some years back...
He claimed he was into real estates and property
Not knowing he was just in the relationship for some selfish reasons I had no forsight of because yeah I was so gullible and stupid enough not to have paid attention to all the signs around coupled with the fact he always kept his family life and background personal.

Lesson learnt: Avoid investing into any sort of relationship if you have any atom of doubt and always get your fact right about anyone irrespective of the love you have or share together.

The more I think of it, the more I feel like shooting and slapping myself for being so careless

Take care not to invest all of your strength and energy on keeping up appearances or disguising your insecurities when what's really essential to projecting a secure, confident presence is developing a healthy self-esteem and a kind and courageous heart.

Mine was personal share of 40million naira approximately when I shared a business idea with a good friend but failed in putting everything down into a signed agreement because I trusted him and our friendship.

He made the money as projected but never gave me a penny.

Lesson learned: Trust absolutely nobody

When I was much younger, I sent a guy I was dating online 5k cause he was in need of money, such loss! How he was able to bill me and knock out 5k from me is still a mystery to me till date and we never for once met till we broke up online so I could recoup my money. .

I quit betting 4yrs ago but last year December I was just scrolling thru Twitter then a noticed a guy who called himself king of 2odds, I saw series of his tweets on betting and I was tempted to give betting a try again.
