I can swear on my life all three would have still being alive with maybe minor injuries. The lone gunman was nervous as hell and they could have disarmed him without much effort if they had charged at him.

Its take a slit second to act bravely at times.I for one dont see a reason why any of them did not think to hide behind a black item on the curidoor that look like an iron grail, charge at the second shooter who came very close and did the damage , wrestle him down with that metal.
