It is not our fault that Nairobi to Mombasa road have so many killer potholes on it. You have a smooth ride from Accra to Kumasi without bumping into a pothole. Secondly, the road to Kumasi is a 4 lane dual carriageway. ![]() ![]() rvp20182: The biggest highway in Kenya is just 2 lane single carriageway to Mombasa. This is such a shame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCzCDEtt1Eg 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Assuming your data is correct, you can clearly see kenya hunger problem is linked to extreme weather and locust. What excuse does Nigeria which is mostly arable have to be food poor? Just30: 1 Like |

will you shut up with this arable nonsense Even Morocco and Egypt are not complaining, their land is just pure desert sand which they have to buy manure before they think about irrigation to make it arable. You have more than half the land size oF Nigeria with1/4th their population you have an advantage rvp20182: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

rvp20182: If you weren't myopic, you will clearly see that the data for Nigeria says "northern Nigeria" and everybody knows that the region is battling with Boko Haram, tribal conflicts and herdsmen attack...many people have been chased off their farms . Meanwhile,Kenya's drought and locust problems have been there for decades... You should learn from Israel and north Africa how being arid or semi arid isn't an excuse not to grow food... You grow tea and flowers in large quantities in your country, what stops you for growing staple crops.? Is it tea and flower your people will consume.. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

rvp20182:This is a lazy man approach. Greenhouse technology already provide a better alternative. and investing in state of the art technology can help predict event so that you can plan regardless of the weather condition. Nigeria is not food handicapped, in fact , Lagos state alone will feed Kenyans . what is really happening is logistical problem and reduction of farming activity due to insurgency in the north. there is not enough food supply from food grown area to the violence area of the north . 3 Likes |

Austine1212: Or they could have been like Comoro in development. What is difference between a South African citizen vs a Tanzanian? Tanzanian are even better, there is much land to cultivate, feed themselves and sell the surplus rather than starve like 29% unemployed South Africans. 3 Likes |

Just30: And to think that they have good lands where they grow tea and flowers.. What's stopping them from growing crops that their citizens can actually consume? ..not the type that will fetch the government quick money... 4 Likes |

the problem that stops them from growing food to feed themselves is a colonial problem that has not changed. their economy was designed to be a dumping ground for European goods now the Asians have taken over. While they waste their time to grow things that they dont consume. Danielnino00: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

They have this situation where they import 4 to 6 billion dollars of food while they sit on arable land and grow tea and flowers that fetch them 1.5 billion dollars. Any sane thinking person will call this Insanity. ![]() ![]() ![]() But what do i care or know, There are no sane thinking people in Kenya. Danielnino00: 3 Likes |

Kenya is 89% semi-Arid and yet only 10% of our population is suffering. That tells you we have done a lot from 11% of arable land considering we don't have minerals. Conflict is MAN-MADE. Desertification is not. Locust is not. COVID-19 is not. Learn to use your brain ZOOgerian. Danielnino00: 2 Likes |
