This is a lazy man approach. Greenhouse technology already provide a better alternative. and investing in state of the art technology can help predict event so that you can plan regardless of the weather condition.


Nigeria is not food handicapped, in fact , Lagos state alone will feed Kenyans . what is really happening is logistical problem and reduction of farming activity due to insurgency in the north. there is not enough food supply from food grown area to the violence area of the north .

The flowers grown mostly under irrigation in greenhouses. Kenya is very advanced. Our horticulture industry competes with likes of Isreal and Netherlands.. I saw Ghana flowers are grown in the forest .
