Hmmmm

All I can say is that as long as Kano State is concerned, the government, Islamic clerics and the people of Kano are not trying.....
This should be a personal decision.... to stay alive.

74 out of 489 samples

I don't trust these statistics coming from a politician and a crooked one like Ganduje for that matter

Please stop playing politics with covid-19 and say the truth.

Kano that is having widespread deaths?

E don red for Kano. The fed government need to declare state of emergency in Kano before it gets out of hand. The stories coming from there is not palatable at all.

Kano are just like Liverpool and the Epl, and beside, with the known pattern of voting in Kano, I m sure by next week, they will close the gap with lagos or top the table. But seriously, I m praying that God should interven divinely

And they are yet to start massive testing like Lagos State. They only have one testing centre and sample collection centre.

God help us.

Not looking good at all! Lock down Kano State, keep its borders closed water-tight and keep the key under Pres. Buhari's pillow. If this sh*t spread widely to other Northern States, pictures from Italy and New York would be a child's play.

May God take control.

This pandemic is going to be catastrophic in Africa. The coming months will reveal the ugly grip this virus will hold on Africa. We are not prepared. In the end, the strongest will survive. But the aftermath will be more deadly from a crumbled economy to hunger sweeping across the country to uprisings occurring like never before. We are not ready

Nonsense..

Nigeria leaders b like..

72 cases

700 dead.

Why deceive ourselves with neww cases whereas the bulk lies on those who are dying daily by same unknown illness.

Test has now become parameter to decide the spread whereas you are testing 0.0001 of your population while a bigger percentage is dying and the rest is roaming about as if nothing is happening.

Who is deceiving who

Hmnm.. Why won't they keep increasing when proper measures were not put in place to curb the spread. Just few days ago, I saw a post here about how the markets were overcrowded by the residents who were buying things in preparation of lockdown....

Meanwhile, Ganduje has been busy trying to forcefully convert people's children to Muslims.. undecided angry

Fighting a pandemic as huge as this requires sensitization and strict enforcement of orders.

This was the same state where they held a covid-19 novelty football competition

Videos surfaced of citizens calling the covid-19 bluff by washing their hands and drinking the water.

Days ago, the governor relaxed the lockdown for restocking for the Ramadan.

This week the location where samples are collected was closed down due to infection of some of the staff there.

Same state the governor is requesting for 15bn. An amount Lagos State, the epicenter of the virus didn't demand such amount.

Fighting the virus requires sensitization and enforcement of the lockdown. If not, people will perish for lack of knowledge

Federal Government should take over Kano Covid19 response as soon as possible, can you imagine a state like this without a functioning testing centre besides they only gave Kano 1500 test kits compared to Lagos that got 24000 they haven't seen this coming right?
