It means the worth of the insurance that u are buying should be 30k euros. Usually this 30k euros insurance is cost lest than 25k naira depending on the insurance company u approached.

When I first went to Lagos, I booked block opening as my consular services. Because I couldn't find anywhere they said block closure, so I assumed that since it's opening they also have the power to close. Mr Paulinus turned me back for wrong booking.

I had to book again, I almost caused a scene there cause theres no where it says anything again there about block apart from block opening. He pointed to a paper I printed at DAT cyber cafe section just to come and show them to use there own hands to show me where to book cause I can't be doing trial and error. He pointed I was to choose miscellaneous as consular services.

Then I did and got a date. Like some weeks later.

I ignorantly went and printed heaven and earth my ission letter, fintiba form etc.

All u need is just your port, proof of appointment date- just copy the page u got the appointment into Microsoft word and print it out.
There's a particular form u would get from them.

When u reach there wait for your turn tell them that you are not going to again that u want to withdraw your money from your block they will give u a form. Printed and stamped. The guy would ask you why tell him you can't get a date.

He would tell u the amount which is I'm euros then u change to naura which is around 10k as at Jan.

Once u get that form scan it to fintiba under closure that's all.

Note the money would be sent back to the sender. So if u borrowed it from somebody u have to the person

Please bro I've checked the embassy website but I couldn't find 'miscellaneous' under consular service. Please help a brother do share more light on this, I sent you a mail. God bless you bro

Helo brother... If u want to get ur money back from fintiba, its very simple if u follow the way I did mine and my money reflected in my within 2 weeks...I didn't book any appointment, didn't even go to lagos, I did all that from the comfort of my home...
Step 1 write to fintiba through the form on their website that u want to unblock ur money..provide them with ur port number and also a scan copy of the blocking confirmation

Step 2 they will reply u after few days that u need a later from the embassy that visa was not issued...then write to the embassy through their mail that u need a written confirmation for unblocking

Step3 Embassy might not reply u but in my case they replied that I should book an appointment on the consular matters...pls ignore the message..just write back to fintiba that embassy wants them to directly them....in that ur mail to fintiba make sure u include embassy phone numbers and email address

Step 4 After few days fintiba will ask u to confirm if the u used in sending the money is still active...once u confirm that u receive another message from fintiba to give them 3weeks to send the cash back...in my own case it was 2 weeks before the money reflected.

I hope this helps...let me know if u have any other questions.... Stay safe

Let's wait till the website is opened. Before we make any assumptions to avoid mistakes

LoL... This is too clever.

Mikeval001 try this format at least u have nothing to loose and its a cheaper option.

My only question is, but embassy doesn't have ur port details since u did not really get in with them, is it that fintiba just decided not to stress themselves

Menh gt this covid19 really changed things and plans ...even if corona ends today ,it will take sometime before any Eu country will open its borders for foreign students ..it has to be little by little.. maybe next summer or next winter

In Bavaria, this semester is referred to as "free semester" so there are some schools that will provide online learning for you because of visa issues relating to corona. Guy keep the hopes high.
