The Anambra State Ministry of Basic Education in partnership with the Anambra Broadcasting Service has devised an ingenious virtual learning programme for pupils and students in the State.

The programme, called Anambra Teaching On Air, will kick off on the ABS Radio Stations today.

According to the Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha, the broadcast education technique will stand in the gap for normal classroom situation, truncated by the Corona-virus induced closure of schools in Anambra State.

Professor Omenugha, spoke yesterday, in a programme anchored by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah in Awka.

The Anambra Teaching On Air, which will run from Mondays to Fridays, is to be received on ABS 88.5FM Awka, and ABS 90.7FM, Onitsha.

Students and other listeners are expected to live, by ing Anambra Broadcasting Service App from Google play store.

People can also steam live via www.absraditv.com, or watch live via www.Facebook.com/absradiotelevision.

The first episode will come on air today between eleven o’ clock and twelve noon.

Good.

This state is indelible in my heart. It's the richest in the East. Much of it's development is, however, owed to mathew effect, ie the advantage it had earlier garnered especially in business. Onitsha main market is the biggest in West Africa.
Sell airtime to us and get cash. We buy upto 4m.We can pay first if you are legit. 0909-63--0O2-0O.

Schools in Anambra can favourably compete with it's counterparts in Africa. I attended one.

At least they've started something. With a little Aboki radio run on 2 Tiger Batteries, a pupil can keep abreast with learning.

In the US, schools released IPADS to pupils to take home to enable virtual learning how is this feasible in your country when some of the teachers are not even IT savvy and homes have no regular power supply.

But how will they teach physics over the air?
Make broadband internet available, una no gree because all of una buy share for MTN.

Bring electricity, una chop d money.

All classes should be online by now and there won't be any difference whether online or in classes.

If I am not mistaken the Eko Project is the $90 million loan from the World Bank that Fashola did not want to disclose how it was spent because "FoI does not apply to Lagos state" shocked
